Instructions

2. Combine dry ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.

3. Cream butter & sugar: In a large bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

4. Add eggs & vanilla: Beat in the eggs, one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.

5. Mix wet & dry: Gradually add the dry ingredients alternately with the milk, starting and ending with the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.

6. Fold in toffee bits: Gently fold in the toffee bits.

7. Bake: Divide the batter evenly among the cupcake liners. Bake for 18–22 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow the cupcakes to cool completely.

8. Frost: Mix the toffee sauce into the buttercream frosting. Pipe or spread the frosting over the cooled cupcakes.

9. Top: Sprinkle the crushed toffee pieces on top of each frosted cupcake.
