Pumpkin Chai Iced Latte: A Cozy Fall Delight

  • 2 chai tea bags
  • 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 1/4 cup pumpkin puree
  • 2 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

1. 1. Bring 1 cup of water to a boil in a small saucepan.

2. 2. Remove from heat and add 2 chai tea bags. Let steep for 5 minutes, then remove tea bags and let cool slightly.

3. 3. In another saucepan, whisk together 1 cup of milk, 1/4 cup of pumpkin puree, 2 tablespoon of sugar, 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract, and 1/2 teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice. Heat over medium-low until warm and combined. Let cool to room temperature.

4. 4. In a glass filled with ice, pour in the cooled chai tea and stir in the pumpkin milk mixture until well blended.

5. 5. For whipped cream, beat 1/4 cup of heavy cream and 1 tablespoon of powdered sugar until soft peaks form. Spoon over the latte and sprinkle with additional pumpkin pie spice.
