Cozy Up With This Delicious Gingerbread Oatmilk Chai Tea Latte

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon unsulphured molasses
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chai tea concentrate
  • 1/23/4 cup oat milk

Instructions

1. Step 1: In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the light brown sugar, water, molasses, ground ginger, and ground cinnamon. Stir the mixture constantly until the sugar has completely dissolved and the syrup begins to simmer. Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the pure vanilla extract. Allow the syrup to cool slightly before using.

2. Step 2: In a mug or heatproof glass, combine the chai tea concentrate with the oat milk (or milk of your choice). Heat the mixture on the stovetop or in the microwave until it’s warm and steaming, being careful not to overheat.

3. Step 3: Add the desired amount of gingerbread syrup to the warm chai tea latte and stir well to combine. Start with a small amount of syrup and adjust to your preferred sweetness level.

4. Step 4: For an iced version of the Gingerbread Oatmilk Chai Tea Latte, simply serve the latte over a handful of ice cubes. Alternatively, you can top the warm latte with a dollop of coconut whipped cream or froth 1/4 cup of oat milk to create a creamy, indulgent foam.

5. Step 5: Sip and savor your freshly made Gingerbread Oatmilk Chai Tea Latte, allowing the comforting flavors to warm you from the inside out.

Notes

For a more pronounced spicy kick, try adding a pinch of ground nutmeg or cardamom to the gingerbread syrup. You can also experiment with fresh grated ginger for a bolder flavor.
