Fried Bologna Sliders 5 Steps Ultimate Delicious

Fried Bologna Sliders with Pickle Dijonnaise are a nostalgic comfort food featuring crispy fried bologna, American cheese, and a tangy pickle-infused sauce on sweet Hawaiian rolls.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 rolls King’s Hawaiian
  • 8 ounce bologna, thinly sliced
  • 4 slices American cheese
  • 2 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 cup dill pickles, chopped
  • 2 tablespoon pickle juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

1. 1. In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, chopped dill pickles, pickle juice, and garlic powder. Stir until well-combined. Set aside.

2. 2. Slice the King’s Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally. Place a slice of American cheese on the bottom half of each roll.

3. 3. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add 1 tablespoon of butter. Fry the bologna slices until golden brown and crispy, about 1-2 minutes per side.

4. 4. Assemble the sliders by placing one piece of fried bologna on top of the cheese-topped bottom bun. Spread the Pickle Dijonnaise on the top bun and place it over the bologna.

5. 5. If desired, melt the assembled sliders by heating more butter in the skillet and toasting them for 1-2 minutes. Serve immediately, sprinkled with poppy seeds.

Notes

These sliders can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in a skillet or oven before serving.
