  • 2 tablespoon honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 cup brown rice
  • 2 cup vegetable broth
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 avocado

Instructions

1. 1. In a medium saucepan, combine the brown rice, vegetable broth, and salt. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 40-45 minutes until tender.

2. 2. In a large bowl, toss the pressed and cubed tofu with cornstarch, all-purpose flour, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.

3. 3. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add coated tofu cubes and fry until golden brown and crispy on all sides, about 5-7 minutes. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

4. 4. In a small saucepan, combine soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, minced garlic, and sesame oil. Bring to a simmer and cook for about 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
