Crispy Gnocchi With Spinach And Feta 4 Servings Easy Delicious

Crispy Gnocchi with Spinach and Feta is a delightful Italian-inspired dish that’s bursting with flavor and texture. By mastering the art of crisping up the gnocchi and pairing it with the fresh spinach and tangy feta, you can create a restaurant-quality meal right in your own kitchen.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound potato gnocchi
  • 2 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
  • 4 cup fresh spinach leaves
  • 4 ounce crumbled feta cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes

Instructions

1. 1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add the gnocchi and cook according to the package instructions, usually 2-3 minutes, until the gnocchi float to the top. Drain the cooked gnocchi using a slotted spoon.

2. 2. Heat the olive oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Add the cooked gnocchi and sauté, stirring occasionally, until they’re golden brown and crispy on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.

3. 3. Toss the minced garlic and fresh spinach leaves into the pan with the crispy gnocchi. Cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the spinach is wilted and fragrant.

4. 4. Season the gnocchi and spinach mixture with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Stir everything together to evenly distribute the seasonings.

5. 5. Remove the pan from the heat and sprinkle the crumbled feta cheese over the top of the gnocchi and spinach.

6. 6. Divide the Crispy Gnocchi with Spinach and Feta evenly among 4 serving plates and serve immediately, while the gnocchi are hot and crispy.

Notes

For those with dietary restrictions, you can easily substitute the feta cheese with a dairy-free or vegan cheese alternative. Additionally, frozen spinach can be used in place of fresh if that’s more convenient.
